Unpacking and sieving process

New powder is unpacked in the closed unpacking
chamber without direct powder contact. Components
can also be depowdered without direct powder contact.
Processed powder is prepared by the integrated ultrasonic
sieve unit and is collected in supply cartridge. This sieved
and recycled powder in the cartridge can then be used
directly for the next print job.

In combination with the CORiTEC milling systems of the 350i / 650i series, new standards are being set for high-quality
dental prostheses through the re-milling of SLM units in hybrid technology. Coordinated hardware and software interfaces
as well as automated measuring functions via the CAM and slicing software guarantee precise and easy handling.
The special process was developed, for example, in order to build up highly complex bar constructions in advance at low
cost using an additive process and then to remachine the interfaces with the CORiTEC machine to achieve the absolut
perfect fit and surface quality.

Productivity And Results Maximising performance

CORiTEC AM100 works according to the Laser-Powder-Bed-Fusion process. In this process, a 200 watt fiber laser with a focus diameter of 45 µm melts the powder material, layer by layer. This enables the production of the most complex geometries on an area of 150 x 150 x 150 mm, at a speed of up to 3000 mm/s. This modern technology combines speed and sustainability, resulting in the cost-effective production of dental restorations.

CORiTEC AM100 has been optimally matched for the Cobalt-chrome (Co-Cr) dental alloy powder to manufacture dental prostheses using the laser melting process.
